Teaching Material of the Month: The concentration of caffeine in energy drinks

Tired and not focused? Almost everyone has reached for an energy drink in order to get a quick boost. But what are their components and how do they affect our bodies? In the teaching unit ‚Drink and Think’ students identify the component caffeine, extract it and determine its concentration. The material is taken from the brochure 'iStage 3 - Football in Science Teaching' and can be downloaded here:

This and other teaching units of the brochure 'iStage 3' are available in Czech, English, French, German, Hungarian, Polish and Spanish.
